That Council recess to permit the holding of a Closed Meeting to consider matters with the following exceptions: • A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land for municipal or local board purposes (Municipal Act, Sec. 239(2)(c)).

1) That Council authorize Staff to purchase 6343 Main Street, being PT LT 2 BLK B PL 51 MARKHAM AS IN R463171; WHITCHURCH- STOUFFVILLE in accordance with instructions given to Staff in closed session; and 2) That Council authorize the Treasurer to fund the purchase of this property through Park Trust; and 3) That Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk, or the CAO/Deputy CAO, to sign all necessary documents relating to the acquisition, subject to any revisions made by the Town Solicitor.
