Heritage Advisory Committee

That the Committee confirm the agenda, as circulated.

That the Committee adopt the minutes from the meeting on January 8th, 2024, as circulated.

1) THAT the Heritage Advisory Committee receive the Brierbush Hospital, Further Commemoration - Discussion for information; and 2) THAT The Heritage Advisory Committee recommend Council authorize Staff to determine the feasibility of recreating the pillars on the existing footings and report back to Council on the scope of the proposed work.

1) THAT the Heritage Advisory Committee oppose the demolition request and request to designate the property located at 6343 Main St. under section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act for its cultural heritage value, with the request for consideration to the significance of the brick building behind the wood structure and particular heritage elements such as timbers and foundation; and 2) THAT staff take necessary action to give effect thereto.

1) THAT the Heritage Advisory Committee receive the Listed Properties with Designation Potential, Outside the Community of Stouffville - Update for information and provided comments to Staff

1) THAT the Heritage Advisory Committee receive the presentation of t Heritage Conservation District - Update for information
